The foundation directors of GeneFlow have recognised that genotyping, when combined with the currently established sire and dam evaluation – Estimated Breeding Values (EBV’s) – will offer a major uplift in the rate of genetic gain. This rate of gain at the farm level will increase further when combined with advanced artificial breeding technologies (particularly IVF), which enables a substantially greater contribution by the most elite dams in a breeding herd. Improvements in rates of genetic gain; and increases in the numbers of superior offspring for sale are the end result.

GeneFlow directors have experience in research genetics/genomics, reproduction, commerce, and company directorship. As well as hands-on dairy farm production and stud cattle breeding. Our Senior staff have been drawn from international sources and have proven track records in all aspects of artificial reproduction, especially IVF, ovum pick up, semen sexing, and associated laboratory management.
